Wyming Wendlesday started back in 2017 and originally began with a silly weekly poem just to start everyone's day with a smile.

It became very popular and kind of took on a life of its own with Monty the self-titled Poet Newfiette penning verses about his life in Wigwam, observations of his hoomans, and his agony of sharing a home with Cookie aka the Heffalump aka the Hairy Hippo, and of course the Spangles.

When the 'Cwissymouse' poems started in 2015 they were so popular that we had the idea of asking for a donation to charity leading up to their release the week before the big day.

This resulted in thousands of pounds being raised for animal welfare, veterans and children's charities.

Monty passed in 2022 but not before sharing his life with everyone through his stories and poems. This book has been a labour of love for me and a lovely way to honour his memory.

I hope you enjoy the complete works of Monty Dogge and they bring a smile to your day. I know that would make him very happy.
