Bruno and His Forest of Friends

This story follows Bruno the Bear into a forest filled with people who need extra help! Each character represents a different disability, including Dyspraxia, Autism, ADHD, Deaf, Non-Verbal, Dyslexia, Sensory Processing Disorder and a Wheelchair User.

The story explores what makes each character different and works to demonstrate kindness and understanding. At the beginning of the story there is a character profile for each person that highlights the strengths and challenges that come with their disability, to give children a better understanding of them.

Within the book, there is British Sign Language on each page and a mini sign library at the end of the book, to give children the tools to communicate beyond words and better understand their peers!

Low stimulating colours and themes make this perfect for winding - down, or for Neurodivergent individuals Each page contains large text against a cream background, which may work to aid Dyslexic individuals, or anyone who is beginning their reading journey This book can be used to promote kindness and understanding, to build bridges, not barriers!
