Sparkle is a very rare and unique pony who believes she has imperfections and is very nervous about starting animal school, afraid that everyone will laugh at her for not being a normal pony. She later realises that animal school has many animals who have unique differences, especially her teacher who was born with only three legs. Sparkle learns the importance of being kind and respectful to everyone's individuality and uniqueness and is taught that being unified as a team, everyone can learn from each other's diversity.
