When selecting submissions the goal was to find stories that were strange and unusual and entertaining and approached the themes and ideas in a unique way that showed both conventional and unconventional relationships. Some of these include a woman who has fallen for the most unconventional of lovers, a whaling ship's captain, and his relationship with his crew; there are stories that venture to explore our relationship to work and to time itself.
