A collection of short stories from upcoming young UK writers which focus on themes of relationships. Namely the focus on a broad variety of relationships including family, friends, and romantic relationships. These stories come from the heart and reflect the deepest anxieties and emotions of the younger generation as they grapple with their own place in the world and their relationships with the people around them.

When selecting submissions the goal was to find stories that were strange and unusual and entertaining and approached the themes and ideas in a unique way that showed both conventional and unconventional relationships. There is something in this collection for everyone with some content dipping into the weird and spectacular whereas other stories are much more grounded. Some of these include a woman who has fallen for the most unconventional of lovers, a whaling ship's captain, and his relationship with his crew; there are stories that venture to explore our relationship to work and to time itself. Several stories stand out for their creativity and ingenuity.

Furthermore, the stories are not drastically long and can provide a neat little reading experience for those who don't want to spend too much time investing in lengthy books. The stories are self-contained and all are distinct from each other so you will never run the risk of growing bored.
