The author and illustrator are from Alberta, CANADA. Chelsey Wiesinger pulled a candy cart when she was a kid. She holds an accounting designation (CPA, CMA) and left her corporate career to raise her two children and most recently become the drummer for her husband Justin's rural-synth pop-rock band WIESINGER.
