Regina Williams' story starts in the small town of Kisii in rural Kenya in extreme poverty, and continues through the sand dunes of North Africa, all the way to London.

Regina's life story, from grinding poverty to becoming a highly recognized project management professional and community leader as well as a real estate portfolio manager in London, is truly both inspiring and motivating - reaffirming that where you begin is not where you will end.

Regina is speaking from experience. Born in a grass-thatched house with mud walls, she endured sleepless nights; struggling both from fear and from the harsh bites of safari ants that burrowed through the walls. At night, she could see the stars through the holes in the roof, while feeling the biting cold winds and scrambling for a dry spot to sleep whenever the rain poured through. Nights were dark, lit only by scarce kerosene lamps or the flickering flames of a fireplace. Going to school without breakfast or lunch, hunger was her companion most days during her schooling.

Regina's progress from a childhood of poverty to studying medicine in Morocco on a scholarship gave her determination to succeed and change her story. This was the start of a long journey that finally landed her in the UK.

Growing up as one of nine children, Regina learned early on about hard work and resilience. These lessons paid off when she became a skilled project management practitioner, a job that took her across Europe, working on big projects in countries like the UK, Germany, Sweden, and the Netherlands. Her expertise helped improve banks, government departments, and even London's public transport system.

But Regina's heart also led her to public service. For ten years, she served as a councillor in the London Borough of Newham where she was a voice for the people, tackling their problems and finding solutions. It was a role that filled her with pride, connecting her back to her roots and the community leadership she admired in her mother. Her political journey, spanning a decade amongst some of the world's elite leaders, further cemented her status.

As a single parent, she rose above challenges to redefine what's possible. Grab her book and dive into her journey of transformation. Be inspired by her story.

She loves hiking in country parks or walking along the banks of the Thames taking in the London views and sunset, relishing street food, and listening to buskers' music.
