Shadows Over Spectral Waters

A barbaric crime ushers a demented evil out of the shadows!

On a dreary rain-soaked late September morning, Detective Sergeant Mickey MacKinnon, following up on a tip, finds a decomposing mutilated body on a rural property. The finding sets in motion one of the most bizarre and tragic murder investigations of MacKinnon's career as a homicide detective. As he pursues his inquiry, he not only learns that the perpetrator of this heinous crime is clever, methodical and seemingly a step ahead of the police, but suspects that he has killed before.

Creating portraits in death and playing cat and mouse with the police are perverted ways the murderer deals with the demons which haunt him relentlessly. However, this self-styled ghastly therapy brings him face-to-face with a challenge which ultimately forces him into a life-or-death situation.
