The Comfort Tree

Deep in the forest stands a very tall tree. In stunning silk paintings, author-artist Holly Carr shows how a variety of forest animals and birds find comfort around the tree through the seasons inviting children to let go of their anxieties and find joy in their surroundings. As night falls, the animals can be heard calling good night to each other from the boughs of the tree that gives them comfort, leading children to a gentle end to the day, and helping lull them into a good night's sleep.
