Ice to Dust

Hiding from slave traders was hard enough after the big freeze. Now, new wastelanders encroached on Charlotte’s territory, between her sanctuary and her food and supply source. They also carried more powerful weaponry than the slave traders. Once a month she has to hide from slave traders, but twice a day she has to cross these newcomers. One morning she tries to outrun them. Losing this race, they’re not at all what she expected to encounter.
