Marco Island Writers Inc. has been gathering together to learn the craft of writing and encourage each other in our individual roads to publication since 2011. Writing can be a lonely adventure because at some point, you need to sit down at the desk and write alone. Through Marco Island Writers Inc, members and guests are given the opportunity to advance their skills. We rejoice in the success of so many authors who are now published. With the motto: Writers Helping Writers, every writer, new or experienced, is welcome. Volume VI is a collection of both fiction and non-fiction, in short stories, poems and essays, along with tributes to our passed members, written by twenty of our members. . We believe in promoting literacy for children. A portion of the sales from the Marco Island Writers’ anthologies go to support two charities: the Early Learning Coalition of SW Florida and the Mt. Kisha English School in Magulong Village, Northeast India.We hope you enjoy these stories and poems.
