My mother has penned her life story starting with growing up in the South and working in the fields with her family during the 1950’s. She shares the hardships of growing up in the South as a poor black girl and becoming a leader in her community and in the Lord’s church. The disparities of a dysfunctional life did not stop this black woman from passing love, strength, and courage to her children, her family, and so many others.
