From the moment Violet broke through her shell, this alligator had quite the story to tell. She was rescued by an alligator named Indigo that happened to be swimming by when they hatched. Indigo was compassionate and determined to take care of Violet, Eggplant, Plum, and Periwinkle. This new alligator mom raised them as her own children and taught them to swim, swish, splash and snap. Soon the alligator siblings were ready for their first day of school so Indigo rowed them down the river for their first day of school at their local "Snapping School" located on the bayou. Everyone loved school, except Violet. Through perseverance, love, counseling, and extra support at school, Violet overcame her emotional and academic struggles and learned to SNAP! This is a beautiful story of adoption and relentless determination to ensure that no matter their background, every alligator kid deserves to succeed! Just because alligators face academic and emotional challenges doesn't mean that they can't SNAP their way to the top. This community of alligators worked closely together to ensure that every alligator student knew they were Loved, Snappy, and SMART!
