He went from being a "four-point student" to an Administrative Law Judge and has always fancied himself a poet and arbiter of words. He loves a good debate and remained a competitive football and basketball player until he found most of the competition was 20 years younger than he was. He now lives with his wife, Carol, in West Bloomfield, Michigan.
