Rufus & Olivia

Rufus and Olivia notice differences with Mom. They can tell something is about to happen. They are told a big surprise is coming! What can it be? As Rufus and Olivia adjust to the big surprise they start to feel left out and try to get Mom and Dad's attention. The two soon discover it's better when they help work together with Mom and Dad, which then gives them all more time together as a family.

This is Michele Walker's second Rufus & Olivia book. She enjoys being a Head Start Teacher and sharing her books with children. Michele is a huge advocate for literacy and parents reading to their children. She strives to instill a love for books in her class. Included in the back of the book are some questions to ask children about how they feel when a new baby comes in the home. What are ways they can help? What would they like to do together with Mom and Dad? And what would be their idea of a Big Surprise?!
