I WONDER, A Journey of Discovery, soars on the wings of discovery with a fun read for all ages.

I WONDER, A Journey of Discovery, is a full color, illustrated storybook, that follows the transformations and travels of a Monarch butterfly throughout its life's unique odyssey, recognizing the impact of Monarch butterflies, inviting curiosity, celebrating the beauty of the natural world, and sparking positive self-awareness.

I WONDER is a fun read that carries a simple, uplifting message: we can believe in ourselves and accomplish more than we might imagine.

Don Shearer is the author and illustrator of I WONDER. The illustrations for I WONDER were created in Adobe Illustrator. The page layouts were done in Adobe InDesign. The font throughout is Iowan Old Style. I use Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Aero, and Apple GarageBand to create companion digital media. No AI generated content is used in creating my illustrations.

Recommended for ages 3 and up.

While I WONDER can be enjoyed just for fun, the book also aligns with Social Emotional Learning standards, and with Next Generation Science Standards for California Public Schools and lesson plans for Pre-K through Grade Four:
