Gray journeys into wild lands, facing Foxfish and worse. He runs into an old friend, Holly, the Pangolin, as well as Stelios, the Bright Bird, and meets the Bunroos. When Gray prepares to take on the terror of the Hyarks on the third night, he must figure out a plan to outsmart them, or face losing the Land of the Lirtles forever.
