Bernadette Murphy’s life has been ticking along-new career, new romance, new peace with past losses. Yet she finds herself emotionally stuck, wearing an engagement ring on a leather cord around her neck instead of on her finger. When her brother dies suddenly, her world is rocked, yet her sister-in-law, Jenny, launches into survival mode within hours of the funeral. While she hopes to find healing in reaching the trip’s destinations, she soon learns the true magic is found in the moments lived along the way. But Bernie can’t run forever.
