As my wife, first-born son, and I planned to move to a new city, my intuition tested me in significant ways. It warned me something was coming. I wasn’t sure exactly what, but I grew exceedingly concerned. It wasn’t long before tragedy struck. What followed was a war we never could have imagined. A difficult and unique journey was upon us, full of traumatic battles, some lost and others won. With no blueprint for these battles, I struggled mightily to hold it all together. In my darkest moments, I was led to use one of my most natural gifts in order to dive deep and explore the emotional side of what might have been, so that I could fully appreciate what actually was.
