Kai and their cat, Sky, share a wonderful friendship. They enjoy silly games and comfort each other when afraid. Together, they feel safe. Sometimes school for Kai is challenging. Kai does not identify as a boy or a girl, and not everyone understands. Kai knows it's not complicated--they are nonbinary! When Kai comes home, Sky welcomes them with purrs and snuggles. Kai feels accepted and loved-most importantly by themself!
