This novel is about a young boy’s journey from the shores of North Africa into the Greek city-state of Sparta. The young protagonist lives a simple and calm life as a fisher man with his family in the ancient land of Libu, which is modern-day Libya. However, one Thursday night, the young protagonist lost the world he once knew and his family by the hands of Persian soldiers, but he and his cousin survived the Persian invasion. All thanks to the Spartan soldiers that rescued them from such a Persian invasion, and took the two young boys to Sparta where they will start a new chapter in their lives.
