When he discovers and befriends Humo, they agree to make and sell tortillas in the village below. At first, the villagers reject Humo and lock him up, but when the town is threatened with locusts and drought, it is up to Humo to save them. Will he use his powers for good to help the village and save them from starvation by sharing his tortillas?

Written in English with side-by-side Spanish translation to aid in learning a foreign language. The story is culturally appropriate for both Spanish and English readers. Also featuring 15 full-color original illustrations.
