This book encourages children to embrace individual differencesYou Are You is an interactive book that encourages children to look at others and themselves as special and important. It introduces the notion of diversity and tolerance to younger children, and can be used as an anti-bullying tool in the classroom by encouraging children to embrace individual differences.

This book will grow with children. Younger children can use this book as a picture book. They can point out and discuss the unique features of children displayed throughout the book. As children age, they become the reader and write down responses to the questions posed by each child in the story–a wonderful way to become familiar with differences.
