In April 2020, actor Alexander Siddig launched an experiment in community building. Driven by a desire to reach out to people isolated by the COVID-19 pandemic, Siddig and the owner of his official fansite, Melissa Lowery, created the Sid City Social Club. Meeting weekly via Zoom, the social club brought hundreds of people together from all corners of the world. In this essay collection, 16 of these people share how the social club impacted them during this time of isolation and uncertainty.
