Azara has the Gift of fire: she can create it, control it, embody it. She is as bright and dangerous as fire itself, and she has been trained to use her Gift to defeat her enemies.

The Bellicus Academy trains every child in Cassonot to be a warrior, so they can join Cassonot’s infamous army: the Arsenal. Azara is just months away from graduating from the Academy when rumors of a blossoming rebellion lead her to a prophecy that predicts the greatest war Cassonot has ever seen. A war that the mighty Arsenal may not be able to win.

Azara and her friends are charged with a treacherous secret mission to find the weapon that will determine the outcome of the prophesized battle. They must venture to the OtherWorld, more commonly known as Earth, where the race to find the mysterious weapon will test their friendships, loyalties, and skills as future warriors.
