Man of Faith: Joseph Harry Glavosek
Judith Carol Glavosek - Priest
This is about the Life and Times of a very special man that didn't have a very long life. Harry was born in 1945, died in 1991. He was only 46 years old when he passed over to be with our Lord. I wanted to share his Legacy so his grandchildren would know a little about their Grandfather, (Papa). Also, to share my Hope and Prayer that others who read this book will come away knowing anyone can, with Prayer, Hard Work and Determination, overcome obstacles Life may throw at you no matter how hopeless it may seem. Harry was a man born into a challenging, poverty ridden family. Against all odds he made a good life for himself and his family. He never gave up on his dreams, always striving to achieve to be the best he could be. When he got knocked down because of bad judgement or choices, he never took the time to feel sorry for himself. He would just move forward and learn from those past mistakes. "I Can't" wasn't in his vocabulary, instead he would say "Watch me", or "I can do it". He did too. He loved life, people and adventure. He read his Bible daily and lived as best he could by the Word. Often times he would quote Scripture to me or one of our children when he felt the need. I know that his strong Faith helped guide him throughout his life. Because of that Faith he is in Heaven today with Jesus and I know we will meet again someday. Please don't give up and say I can't, because you can achieve your dreams. God will walk beside you and lead you. You only need to ask. 'I John 5:14' "and this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, He hears us."
