John Brassfield is an A & Z railroad who dreams of owning a restaurant. But not just any restaurant, he wants to build one in a town that doesn't exist. At least not yet anyway. When he approaches his wife about giving up their opulent home in Rockport, IL. and moving to a town that doesn't exist, except for the new railroad, she not only balks at the suggestion. She flat-out refuses.

He explains the new train route will bring more people and businesses and this is the time to build his dream. John must either convince his wife to take this leap of faith with him, or he will have to choose between her and his dream. Can he even make it without her? And what would a town be without the one true love of his life?
