This book introduces a young black male, Darnell, who is passionate about dance, but isn’t being accepted by his fellow peers. The character receives a lot of love from his parents and teacher which gives him the courage to sign up for the school talent show. Darnell meets friends along the way that join him on the journey to express their new found love for dance.

The inspiration of this book comes from the view point of the male African-American culture. Most times the creatives arts isn’t accepted until an individual has become successful. This book is targeting the anti-bullying which is seen throughout our communities everyday.
