What an amazing book! I have spent all day reading this and seriously could not put it down. It has love, heartbreak, confusion with the will they, won’t they, and the shocker that I didn’t see coming. Overall I’d give this book a 5* rating as I thoroughly enjoyed every single page. Claire Cobb (Reviewer). If you are looking for a beautiful teenage love story, this is not the book for you. If you want a real, dramatic and sometimes a punch-in-the-gut story, you’re in the right place. Good job, J.A. Howard. Giulia Di Belardino (Reviewer)

Rob Starr is out of Mia Morgan’s league. Of course, she has a crush on him. Everyone does. Not that she would ever admit it. That would be too weird. Their moms are practically best friends. Besides, Mia is a nobody with relentlessly-frizzy hair and a perfect GPA, while Rob is Ellsworth High’s basketball superstar and the most beautiful boy in school. Not to mention he’s been going out with the totally gorgeous Chloe Olsen since, like, forever.

But one October afternoon, a terrible accident changes everything, and Mia and Rob are suddenly living in the same house and spending time alone together.

Soon Mia’s world is changing in almost every way: new clothes, parties every weekend, and a super-hot boyfriend. But her first romance isn’t what she hoped it would be. She feels uncertain all the time. She isn’t convinced that Rob means the things he says. But, with every red flag, Mia becomes more obsessed. Her grades are slipping and her old friends aren’t talking to her. Sure, she knew being with someone like Rob would require some sacrifices, but is it worth giving up everything she is? If you are a Euphoria fan, this book is for you! J. A. Howard takes us into the world of teens today. Through the eyes of Mia Morgan, we live through one of the hardest coming-of-age experiences - the brutally broken heart.

This book feels like Mean Girls and 13 Reasons Why combined. Gemma P (Reviewer)

Ultimately, this is an important YA read that confronts a number of tough topics and ends on a moving & powerful note. Jessica S. (Reviewer)
