Heart Attacks Happen

"God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day." - Psalms 46:5 The day I felt my heart collapse within itself was the day my life changed. It was November 2018 when I heard God say, "I can not handle a bitter heart. I am going to uproot everything that caused THIS. Let. Me. Work." My simple reply of, "Thank You," ushered me into a path that would take me from a bitter woman to a healed, whole, and set-free woman of God.

Heart Attacks Happen chronicles my love and relationship life beginning with my father and ending with the Father. The heart attacks I've suffered were not physical, they were emotional and mental, yet just as detrimental. And they weren't the result of anything going on with my body. From feeling abandoned to underserving of acceptance helped to shape my views of what it meant to be loved and how to function in a relationship. Those heart attacks resulted from relationships I've had.

Moments of important impact include:

Being accountable for my actions or lack thereof. Learning how to submit to God. Recognizing my red flags, faults, and failures.
