These are stories from the women actively engaged in a global, online reading community called Women Aspiring for More (WAM). WAM, founded by Dr. Tammy Francis, was set up as an engaging space to build relationships, educate each other, and serve others. WAM was established to encourage reading, promote self-awareness, and invest in self-development through literature and literacy.
In this anthology, the women share their experiences and stories about using reading as a vehicle to grow personally and professionally while in the community reading with like-minded women and engaging in conversations from different perspectives. Each contributor shares how reading with others in WAM has changed their reading habits, reading experience(s), reading enjoyment, and/or attitude toward reading.
