One, Two, Three Friends is a traditional children’s song in the Dominican Republic, used in the basic levels of primary education for its effective result in memorizing numbers giving the kids the ability to count from one to ten and backward from ten to one.

This song is played using the ten fingers of the hand counting the number of fingers that the song indicates, raising them when the numbers go in the order of one to ten, and closing them when they go in reverse. This song is found on page 38 of the book Dona Semana-Canciones Infantiles Tradicionales Educativas , the volume one of the collections Canciones Infantiles Tradicionales Dominicanas (Traditional Dominican Children’s Songs) by Maria Aduke Alabi (Find it on Amazon).
