Awakening: The Triumph of Truth is the 5th book in The Joy of Christian Discipleship Series and the first available in our developing Course 2. Awakening opens the topic of how living faith is initiated by God and guided by the Holy Spirit in both individuals and groups. How do we wake up into the Light of God ? The history of major revivals of faith is reviewed, as well as the timetable and general principles that accompany times of active spiritual awakening. Unlike Course 1, which delves deeply into issues that are best managed in same-sex groups, Course 2 material is well-handled by mixed groups.
