A tranquil summer night is shattered by horrified screams when an ill-advised social media stunt goes disastrously wrong. Reeling from their loss, the Graham family comes together and must face some hard decisions about the disposition of the family's dairy farm. As they squabble amongst themselves, a few odd deaths in a nearby neighborhood draw the attention of the local sheriff. They can't be what they appear to be. Can they? Domesticated cattle have been an important resource throughout human civilization. For millennia, they have been harnessed as beasts of burden, used as currency, or farmed for milk, meat, and leather-billions upon billions have been slaughtered to feed and clothe us.

Cattle have been known to display sudden, seemingly unprovoked aggression ... but what if they were provoked? What if all they needed was that one extra spark? What if the beef finally fought back?
