Mother’s Work is a collection of lessons and blessings collected by the author, Carol Muleta. As a mother of twin boys, she recounts the early days when she says she was outmanned and overwhelmed. This realization was a sharp contrast to her fantasy of a fun summer camp experience with her two charges happily to following her lead, day in and day out without complaint. Determined to parent her sons as individuals vs. an entity known as the twins , she embarked on a journey to learn more about child development as well her children’s unique needs. In Mother’s Work, she hopes readers feel reassured that there is no one right way to approach motherhood except to meet your children at their point of need and build up from there. She considers it a divine labor of love and wants to encourage others as they chart their own course. Little did she know that when she became a mother, she would abandon her career in marketing to launch a whole new career as a parent educator, consultant, and talk radio host. Motherhood can make you feel like you can do anything!
