Mendacity Quirk Slipstream Snafu is a collection of 100 twenties, a form and mode of poetry created by Jackson Mac Low in 1989. Five stanzas of four lines each, these poems were composed spontaneously with a free-associational approach in a meditative state of mind. Utilizing little in the way of connective tissue, the poems leave a great deal of room for interpretation so that the reader is more an active participant in creating meaning from the text rather than merely being led along by the poet.
