What is Life Force? What animates us, makes us appear bigger than we are, more than the sum of our physical parts?

Why do most people believe in an external presence, in a soul?

Is the Soul the Life Force? Are they synonymous? Do they exist?

Do we just give names to things that we don't understand, that don't exist?

Were the Ancients just extrapolating from imperfect knowledge?

Is the Scientific Method perfect? Valid? Hypothesis? Theory? Fact?

If we can't prove existence of an entity, does that mean it doesn't exist?

What is thinking? Merely synapses firing? Something more?
