Stories I Need to Tell 3

I have been writing screenplays professionally for three decades. In that time, I have written scripts I am immensely proud of, and others that, well, let’s just say, the fact they never saw the silver screen is probably a good thing for all parties concerned. I have written for major studios, independent studios, independent producers as well as written my own spec scripts, some of which you hold in our hands. It is this latter category that you now hold in your hands. Each volume in this series includes two spec screenplays of stories I have to tell. In this, the third volume of my Stories I Need to Tell series of screenplay compilations, the theme is faith and humanity in the form of two individuals and their struggle with mortality and living a life full of meaning. Talk is the story of a radio shock-jock who faces mortality while staging a marathon radio program where the topic is his own death. By facing death, our lead discovers the importance of living a balanced life. While there is no life and death crisis in Art Life-one man’s journey of self-discovery through the art he creates-there is a crisis of faith. Faith in one’s ability and talent. One man struggles to define who he is as an artist as he faces losing a life-long career and the people who love him.
