In the second of a series of multicultural children’s books, Martin Luther King, Jr. finds himself in need of his dear friend’s help to write his speech. As the Castillo family was preparing to celebrate Chula’s big splash off the high diving board, and her birthday, Grandpa Tom receives a call from Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. With Grandma Carmen getting him there in her big green station wagon and grandkids along to help, Grandpa Tom finds a determined Martin Luther King, Jr. envisioning his most famous and important speech.
