Sid Arthur follows the path of most young people looking for their true selves. Sid Arthur leaves his family to look for gold in the world, only to find cold concrete in the cities. He sees those who prey on others and those who are preyed on. Sid Arthur lives a life of start-ups, success, and total obsession. He learns the art of intimacy from a courtesan and gambles his family life away because of a dark night of the soul.

After many years of searching, Sid Arthur realizes the true mechanism of the Universe and returns to where he started. He finds the gold he pursued was always beneath his feet, above his head, and most remarkably, in his heart.

Sid Arthur needed to change his perception of himself to see the truth of the world. In the end, Sid Arthur hears the sacred Ohm in all living things, finds peace and wisdom, and obtains nirvana.
