A young seed, who is scattered by the wind, finds itself on unfamiliar ground. Alone, the little seed has no idea what kind of plant it will be, but it dreams of someday dancing under the sun, with the other beautiful flowers.When the seed spouts and learns it is a stinkweed, the little plant will need the kindness of others to discover it is equally important and beautiful in its own way.The Stinkweed story was originally written for Jeanette’s first two granddaughters, Claire and Rachel.She wanted her grandchildren to learn that a simple act of kindness can make a big difference in someone’s life. Jeanette also wanted them to understand that each child is equally important and beautiful in their own way.
