Renee Kicks Her Blues: (And So Can You)

This story shows children how to improve their perspectives after scary or disappointing events. It explores several ways for children to reduce their negative attitudes. It is intended for ages 6 to 12. It helps children help themselves in easy and practical ways. The book includes room for readers and/or listeners’ personal responses. It is based on actual events beginning when my grandchildren were 3 and 5 years of age. My son created a word game he played with them to assist in framing their viewpoints about life’s experiences. They use these tools to this day.
