The Crisis of Christianity

Why have people walked away from church? Why do many children of faith-filled parents not attend services? What has happened to our society in the last twenty, thirty and fifty years that has turned people away from religion? Though we live in a time of change, surveys show that most people still believe in God. Even those who seldom or never attend religious services often maintain some prayer life and devotion. Nevertheless, it is undeniable that in Europe and much of the United States churches are closing and the number of Christians attending services is declining.

Why? This book will describe what has been happening in our culture and in our lives that has turned many away from their religious heritage. And yet, going forward, there is hope for the future.
