Time Out For Happiness: in all our troubles, my joy overflows

It is human nature to seek happiness. Unfortunately, many of the ways that people think will bring them happiness turn out to be wrong. Nevertheless, people pursue these ways, spending much time and effort on things that long term don’t bring the hoped for happiness. In more recent years, much research has been done to determine what actually does and what doesn’t bring lasting happiness. Armed with the findings of those who have spent much of their careers discovering what actually affects happiness, we can choose to focus on those things and activities which will bring us happiness and joy.
