God’s Plan for Humanity: Purpose, Provision, and Prosperity

God always had a purpose for humanity, even when He created man (male and female). When God created man in his own image His intent was to create a free-will being that was a reflection of His character. When He told them to be fruitful and multiply, He was establishing a world of individuals with whom He could have perfect fellowship. When He told them to subdue the earth and have dominion over the animals, He had established them to reign on earth like he reigns in heaven. That plan has not changed.
