The Healer’s Society

A waitress in a small town has the mysterious ability to heal people. Joanna can see beyond the skin and identify illness within the body. If the disease isn't pervasive, she can free them from the ailment. With deep appreciation for her grandmother's support as a kindred healer, Joanna embraces a faith in bringing healers together. Once her powers are publicly exposed, she must navigate accusations of witchcraft and the dangerous desperation of those seeking her help. Meanwhile, other healers, including the teenager she may have passed the ability onto, wander without actualizing the full extent of their gifts. And yet to be acknowledged is the additional well-being experienced by those who are healed.

Because of steadfast strength built over generations and grounding in the house she inherited, Joanna never gives up on creating a legacy known as the Healer's Society. This short novel has points that rev up the mind intertwined with twists that grab the heart.
