In the Secret of Godspear, Ralm finds himself again an unwilling leader as he is asked to start a rebellion for the downtrodden people of Azazura who are under strict rule of the Ascendancy, a cruel, authoritarian government that uses the godspear’s magic to control the masses. Meanwhile, Cyji continues her search for Ralm and Lavak, witnessing firsthand the Ascendancy’s tyrannical ways.
