A Black Girl’s Blues, Part II (2021) begins with Colleen, the mother, and Jazzman, the daughter, who are attempting to get to the core of their unresolved issues with each other. Colleen is not the perfect mother. Her past drug addiction, conflated with one of her ex-boyfriend’s sexually abusing Jazzman, has caused much pain in their mother-daughter relationship.

Mia continues the error of her ways with a series of bad decisions that later leads her to a physical confrontation with Claude, the father of her unborn child. Meanwhile, she has told her new man, Brad, he is the father.

Meanwhile, Makayla and Roxy continue to fight to keep their love alive. One is madly in love, and the other is in lust-a mismatched formula for success. In Part II, the family of women are learning from their past mistakes in their quest to better themselves and lead drama-free lives.
