Stolen Study Companion: Bible Study

This book is a study companion to Caroline Klug’s fiction thriller, Stolen, which is also a biblical allegory of Colossians 1:13-14:

For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

This seven-session study companion offers insights into the allegory, and provides discussion questions which can be utilized individually or within a group setting.

It is necessary for participants to finish reading Stolen completely, prior to beginning this study.

The novel this study is based on (which is sold separately) chronicles the story of a teenage runaway abducted by a serial killer and held captive in a remote prison in the woods. Alternating chapters weave her story around Sarah, a woman riddled with questions about her own past, who suspects the man she lives with may not be what he seems.

These stories unfold and connect to bring to life the anguish of isolation and the choices that paved the way into their prisons. It also brings the gentle whisper of love and the audacious hope of freedom. Stolen is a thriller with a twist that takes the reader on a journey of pain and terror, as well as an unexpected journey of redemption.
