Sister and brother Melora and Cameron have the best of two worlds! They live in the city with their Mom and Dad, but just a short drive away is their grandparent's farm, with beautiful gardens and beehives. But something is amiss at the farm! The beehives are suffering. Some area farms have been using chemicals that are harmful to bees.

Grandpa Doug calls upon the children to visit, as they have a special relationship with Lady Lavender, their fairy friend, who works with Mother Nature. Perhaps they can all find out together why the bees are sick, and their leader Queenie Bee needs some help. They invite Miss Lynn, the beekeeper to visit, and to seek help from Barney Bee, Lady Lavender, and Mother Nature, to uncover the problem.
