It didn’t take much for Kayla Marks to convince Amber Slayton that she needed to move away from the nightmare she was living in South Bend, Indiana. With a click of a button, she submitted her resume and landed a job in Charleston, SC. While the move itself was uneventful, it didn’t take long for Amber to realize that her past may have followed her into her new life.

Tristan Ashton runs one of the hottest new nightclubs on the Charleston market. Wallowing in self pity, Tristan doesn’t see his life going far. He’s living day to day, overcoming his own past transgressions. As he begins drowning himself in whiskey, a beautiful brunette catches his eye and he can’t help but want to know more.

As the two come together on a whirlwind affair, they both quickly realize that their past lives may hinder the progression of their unknown relationship. Amber shares her past and begins battling her own version of Jekyll and Hyde, while Tristan internally battles his, afraid to share what happened to him.
